Overview
DanceMad is a free dance class directory. We respect your privacy and collect as little data as possible. This policy explains what we collect, why, and how we handle it.
What we collect
- Feedback submissions: If you use the feedback form, we store your message, email (if provided), and the page URL you submitted from.
- School submissions: If you submit a school, we store the school name, city, website, your email (if provided), and any notes.
- Basic analytics: We may use privacy-friendly analytics (no personal tracking) to understand which pages are visited. No cookies are used for tracking.
What we don't collect
- We don't require user accounts or passwords
- We don't use tracking cookies
- We don't sell or share personal data with third parties
- We don't collect payment information
- We don't store IP addresses from form submissions
Cookies
DanceMad does not currently use cookies. If we add analytics or advertising in the future, we will update this policy and implement a cookie consent banner before any cookies are set.
Data storage
Data is stored securely in Supabase (hosted on AWS). Feedback and school submissions are retained indefinitely to improve the service. You can request deletion of your submissions by emailing us.

Your rights (GDPR)
If you're in the EU/UK, you have the right to access, correct, or delete any personal data we hold about you. Since we collect minimal data and don't require accounts, this mainly applies to feedback and school submissions. To exercise these rights, email hello@dancemad.com.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date. For significant changes, we'll make reasonable efforts to notify users.
